Is Aura Quartz natural or manmade?
Aura Quartz does not form naturally, they are crystals that have been coated with elemental metals through a process called 'vapor deposition'. The raw materials are natural, like the quartz itself and the metals used, however the method is not.
How are Aura Quartz crystals made?
Vapor deposition is a process where real Quartz crystals are placed into a vacuum chamber that is heated to over 800°C (1600°F). A vapor of elemental metals such as Gold, Platinum, Titanium, Silver, Iron, Nickel, Niobium or Indium is added to the vacuum chamber, and these metals then meld onto the Quartz. The end result is a stunning Quartz crystal that has been enhanced with the energy of elemental metals - modern day alchemy! The downside of this process is that it sometimes weakens the crystals and makes them brittle. There are many types of Aura Quartz crystals, some of them include:

Aura Quartz crystals have the same properties that you would ordinarily find in Quartz crystals. However, because they have been bonded with elemental metals, they also have the Healing properties of the metals that are used.
What do the different colors do?
Aqua Aura Quartz - Aligned with the throat chakra, it enhances expression and communication in a truthful and loving way.
